Can I apply for IIT JEE 2015-16 and I did not apply for IIT JEE 2014-15?

Actually I got info from somewhere that if i dont apply for iit jee in 12th running year then i wont be able to apply ever. I hears that I can apply only in 12th runnning. Can anybody Tell me it is true or not? Plzzz HElp Me.
