    Obviously Bikas, the eligibility criteria (qualifying exam) is just 60% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (Applied Medical Science or Medical Science and Allied Medical or Agriculture or Nanotechnology or Biosciences or Life Sciences or Food Sciences or Veterinary Microbiology & Parasitology or Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology or Public Health & Allied Sciences or Plant Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying test (if any). Biotechnology is a good career option. Biotechnology career is not only a white coat laboratory drug developing job. There are so many other opportunities out there.     Yes, you are eligible if you have 60% in graduation. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is-
    Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (Applied Medical Science or Medical Science and Allied Medical or Agriculture or Nanotechnology or Biosciences or Life Sciences or Food Sciences or Veterinary Microbiology & Parasitology or Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology or Public Health & Allied Sciences or Plant Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST .
    In case marks scored in Bachelors Degree are 70% or above, then LPUNEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.

    For admission candidate must have completed Bachelor's degree in (Apllied Medical Science/ Medical Science & Allied Medical /Agriculture/ Nano Technology/ Biosciences/ Life Science/ Food Sciences).
    But as of now admission are closed for this session you can apply for this course in next term.

    Hi Bikash,
    Yes, definitely you can apply for M.Sc in Biotechnology after completing graduation in zoology. Those who have completed graduation in any biological subjects are eligible to for this course. The degree must be passed from a recognized educational institution with a minimum of 50% marks. Most of the universities offer admission to the course on the basis of entrance test. The candidate should perform well in the entrance test to get admission to the course. Certain colleges offer admission on the bases of the marks of the qualifying degree exam.
