Yes, you are eligible to appear for SSC CGL but not for UGC NET. Before appearing in the UGC NET exam, you must fulfill the basic educational eligibility I. e. Post-Graduation. UGC NET is conducted by NTA twice in a year.
The purpose of conducting the UGC NET exam is to test the eligibility of the Post Graduated students for the post of an assistant Professor and JRF. To apply for the UGC NET Exam you must score minimum 55% in your Post-Graduation and 5% relaxation is given to OBC/SC/ST/Transgender category.
