Can I apply for the professor or lecturer post without completing Ph.D after qualifying UGC NET?

Yes, you can. But, according to the UGC notification after 2021, no candidate can secure a lecturer job without Ph.D. after NET. Hence, I suggest you complete Ph.D. to secure a better position.

As per my opinion and my knowledge for applying for the post professor lecturer without completing Ph.D after qualifying UGC NET, you are not eligible as their rules have been changed after 2016, as you must have a Ph.D degree 4 and lecturer, but yes you can apply for assistant professor, if you enr

After UGC-NET, you can apply for the post of professor. However, there are many reputed colleges which ask for Ph.D even for the post of assistant professor.
