IGNOU is approved by UGC. If you pursued masters from this university and got minimum qualifying marks then you can apply for UGC NET Exam.
There are also some essential requirements that must be fulfilled to become eligible for the National Eligibility Test.

    Hello Raghav,
Yes, you are eligible for appearing in UGC NET exam. IGNOU is the UGC approved university. But make sure you should have minimum 55% aggregate marks (for General category) or 50% aggregate marks (for OBC/SC/ST/PwD category).
UGC NET exam is held in approx 99 subjects. You can take UGC NET only in your Masters' subject.

Yes, you are eligible after doing MA from IGNOU, as IGNOU is been granted the authority to confer degrees by Clause 5(1)(iii) of the IGNOU Act 1985. IGNOU is also recognized as a Central University by the University Grants Commission of India (UGC). The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) recognizes IGNOU conferred degrees as on par with the degrees conferred by its members and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) recognizes the Master of Computer Applications and Master of Business Administration program of IGNOU.
