Can I apply for UGC NET exam in dec, 2021?

I am currently pursuing my Bachelors degree and next year I will be in Masters 1st year of my post graduation so can I apply for UGC NET exam dec,2021 or it is must that I can only apply in final years or semester of my Masters. Please help me out so I may start preparing for this exam soon.

    UGC NET 2021 Registration process will get started from 3rd week of March 2021 for June session from 1st week of September 2021 for December session exam.
