Can I apply for UGC NET if I have backlog in my post-graduation?

<p>The following are the requirements for UGC NET Qualification for programs leading to Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowships:&nbsp;</p><p>It is recommended that candidates only appear in the post-graduation subject. Candidates may appear in a related subject if their post-graduation subject is not included in the UGC list of subjects.<br>Candidates are eligible for this test if they have completed a master's degree or an equivalent exam from a university or other institution recognised by UGC in the humanities (including languages), social sciences, computer Science &amp; applications, electronic science, etc. with at least 55 per cent of the possible points (not rounding off).</p><p>The above information is taken from the authority website conducting the examination.And since there is not anything specified regarding the backlog .and if you have cleared your backlog and fulfilled the other academic requirements then you can for sure appear for the exam.</p>
