    The following are the requirements for UGC NET Qualification for programs leading to Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowships: 

    It is recommended that candidates only appear in the post-graduation subject. Candidates may appear in a related subject if their post-graduation subject is not included in the UGC list of subjects.
    Candidates are eligible for this test if they have completed a master's degree or an equivalent exam from a university or other institution recognised by UGC in the humanities (including languages), social sciences, computer Science & applications, electronic science, etc. with at least 55 per cent
