Yes, you are eligible to appear in the UGC NET in English subject. But just qualifying the Masters is not enough. NTA set some criteria which a candidate must fulfill to appear in the UGC NET Exam. The educational criteria I. e. to secure minimum 55% (General category) or 50% (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender) in your Post Graduation. Along with the educational qualification criteria you must fulfill the age criteria I. e. The maximum age limit to appear for JRF is 30 years (general category), 33years LLM aspirants), 35 years (SC/ST/OBC/Transgender/Female candidate).
