Can I apply in DU through general category? I belong to OBC category.

    Yes you can apply through general category, but the main thing is that the DU cut-off percentage is very high for general category as compare to OBC. In addition to that I also SEE some colleges closed their admission after first or second list for general category. But that is not the case with OBC. So in short chances of getting admission is very high if you choose OBC category in comparison to general category.

    In case, you belong to one category then you should apply in that category only. Chances of getting admission will be more.

    Yes, in case you don't produce a certificate, you need not mention the caste.
