Should I join a flying school directly or AME will help me as I want to become a pilot? I am a class 12th student.

You are eligible only if you have passed class 12th or equivalent examination with more than 60% marks from a recognized board.
You can join the Pilot course directly, but if you do AME before joining Pilot course, it will give you more exposure to aircrafts and their handling techniques and will be more advantageous.
