National Eligibility Test is an essential requirement for pursuing a career as an Assistant Professor or JRF in the field of Education. Candidates can apply for NET after M.Ed as well as B.Ed. Those who clear NET after completing B.Ed must complete M.Ed within two years of the result otherwise it can lead to an expiry of the score. Therefore, candidates can prepare for NET during their final year of B.Ed as well.
