    Yes, international students willing to study at the University of Leeds have to show their English language proficiency. Class 12 English is accepted at 70% or 75%, depending on the state board OR the following minimum scores in the English language proficiency tests are required at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels:

    IELTS

    Overall 6.0, with no less than 5.5 in each component

    Overall 6.5, with no less than 6.0 in each component

    TOEFL

    Overall 80, with no less than 17 in Listening, 18 in Reading, 20 in Speaking, and 19 in Writing

    Overall 88, with no less than 19 in Listening, 20 in Reading, 22 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing

    Overall 87, with no less than 20 in Listening, 20 in Reading, 22 in Speaking, 21 in Writing

    PTE

    Overall 60, with no less than 59 in any component

    Overall 64, with no less than 60 in any component

    Overall 60, with no less than 59 in any component

    (Note: Exceptions could be applicable for English language proficiency scores as some courses may require higher scores)
