Convert the marks into percentile. IF it comes up to 70%tile or higher then you are eligible. As for the work ex, yes it will help not only in getting selected to XIME but also placements. You can apply to XIME. 81%tile is a good score. Freshers do get less but there are few cases where freshers get more. It all depends on how you perform on the day of the interview. Joining other colleges might improve your prospects as you think, but its a general trend that freshers get less compar
