Hello Anand,
Talking about IAF doctor, job among other defense forces who joined through AFMC is quite good and pleasant!
AFMC commissioned medical officers of IAF are of rank Flying Officer. Firstly after getting commissioned, they are sent to Command Hospital under IAF in Bangalore. There they undergo their internship. After getting it completed, then they are posted to various hospitals (Station Medicare Center) of IAF at various units. Any doctor whether from Army/Navy/Air force for being posted to CH/MH/BH, they must have to be specialised. Same applies for the doctors of Army and Navy commissioned from AFMC. -
You can be an officer, but cannot become a pilot if you join as a doctor.
