Dear Saksham, MCA pass outs get equal opportunities as B.Tech.(CSE & IT) by many IT companies but becoming a software engineer in profession entirely depends upon the person's hard work, skills acquired and natural talent. Generally companies come with two profile for recruiting MCA students
1. Administrator as in network and Desktop. This is more of application of IT.
2. Software Developer or Engineer. This involves coding and debugging.
