You have to pursue a course in some RDBMS like SQLServer/ORACLE/MYSQL.
After completing your course you can go for vendor certification from Microsoft or ORACLE etc.

First I would like to correct you that DBA is stands for Data Base Administrator not the Data Base Analyst. Yes u can become DBA.
For becoming DBA r u confidant in any of the Server Side Operating System?
for what purpose u would like to do DBA?
