    Hello Shruti, of course yes. In fact in the town where I live, there are more engineers working as financial consultants than pure commerce graduates. You must take engineering studies as enabling you to go ahead in this world with fully equipped faculty members. You just need that passion to succeed in any field. Best wishes to you.

    Absolutely! There are lots of career paths you can choose to study or pursue post your engineering into the finance world.  Financial Modelling and Evaluation is a great way to break into the subject to pursue your goal of a financial Analyst. 

     

    There are various ways to approach this. The self learning way by checking courses on Udemy and youtube ( Valuation School is a great channel to go to for it) 

     

    But, I always believe a hand of mentorship / guidance makes a big difference when you're tackling a new field altogether.  So do your due diligence with your research to see all the  institutes /online c

    Yes, you can become a financial analyst after earning an engineering degree. To develop the abilities needed for this position, you must take a course in financial analysis. This job requires you to have an understanding of financial reporting, financial modeling, and finance concepts. You can pursue the following courses:
    1. MBA in finance
    2. Chartered Financial Analyst
    3. Certified Management Accountant
    4. Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst Certificate course
    5. Financial Planning and Analysis
    After this, you can apply for an internship, and with experience, you can start a career as a financial analyst.

    Yes, you can get a finance job after completing your engineering degree. Aspirants who want to become financial analysts must complete a minimum of a Bachelor of Commerce degree in India. After completing their degrees, they must apply for the Chartered Financial Analyst CFA certification exam. There are 3 CFA Levels CFA Level One, CFA Level Two, and CFA Level Three. A Bachelor's degree in a math or finance-related major is often sought.
