Yes, you can be.
Based on your qualification, you can opt for Diploma/Degree in game designer/developer. It needs pre-requirements based on your choice of specialization. If you are a +2 student, you can choose a long term Degree program from various popular universities.

Designers may need a Bachelor's degree, especially if they're planning to work for a large game studio. Although some schools offer a degree in game design, aspiring game designers can get the necessary training from computer science, software engineering, or related degree programs.
