Can I become a government teacher after doing B.Ed?
-
As per National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE), it's mandatory for all aspirants to clear B.Ed for becoming a primary government teacher (classes 1-8) and then clear any Central or State-level TET exam for becoming a senior-secondary government teacher (classes 9-12).

Hi,
Candidate should have acquired Senior Secondary /Graduation/Post Graduation required to apply for the Teacher Training course such as NTT/BTC, B.Ed and Other. Further candidates are required to obtain Teacher Eligibility Certificate by qualifying Teacher Eligibility Test. These Teacher Eligibility Tests are held at State and Central level by institutions authorized to conduct these test by State or Central Government. Thanks. -

6 years agoAt least in Maharashtra, you need to give NET SET exam and also pay some fee of around 20 lacs for getting a permanent job. Maybe something similar. Best regards.
