Can I become a government teacher after doing B.Ed?

As per National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE), it's mandatory for all aspirants to clear B.Ed for becoming a primary government teacher (classes 1-8) and then clear any Central or State-level TET exam for becoming a senior-secondary government teacher (classes 9-12).

At least in Maharashtra, you need to give NET SET exam and also pay some fee of around 20 lacs for getting a permanent job. Maybe something similar. Best regards.
