B.Tech CSE is the most preferred option for becoming software engineer. Indian IT industry also recruits software engineers with B.Tech IT, ECE, MCA and M.Sc CS / IT educational qualifications. BCA and B.Sc CS/ IT are used for junior software engineer roles.
