Can I become an Air Hostess after completing Diploma in Aviation, Hospitality and Travel Management or do I have to do anything else for it?

    Yes, you can become an air hostess or cabin crew after pursuing this course but they have certain criteria which you should match for being eligible for air hostess. If you are eligible then you will be selected.

    • Minimum Height: Men - 170 cms and Women - 157 cms
    • Weight: In proportion to height
    • Educational Qualification: HSC (10 + 2). Candidates who are appearing for their HSC examinations can also apply
    • Physical features: Pleasing personality, clear complexion (scars, pimples and blemishes not acceptable) and good eyesight
    • Marital Status: Unmarried
    • Language skills: Fluency in English and Hindi. Proficiency in a foreign language will be an added advantage.
    • Interactive skills: Excellent communication and good interpersonal skills
    • Nationality: Indian citizens only

    A Diploma in aviation, hospitality, and travel management are not mandatory to become a cabin crew. 12th pass is min education qualification to become a cabin crew. Min height should be 155cms (F), weight as per BMI standard. No tattoos, clear skin are the requirements to become a cabin crew. If you are less than 155cms, even with Diploma Certificate you will be rejected in the interview.

    Age: Between 18 and 27 years
    Minimum Height: Men - 170 cms and Women - 157 cms
    Weight: In proportion to height

It would be based on spot selection, if you meet all other basic criteria set by them. You may also have to do training in air career for quite some time before they select you for full time.
