Anesthesiologists are specialised medical doctors who require an MBBS degree, followed by a postgraduate degree or Diploma in Anesthesiology, such as an MD in Anesthesia or a Diploma in Anesthesia (DA). Admission to MBBS programs in India is strictly based on NEET scores.
