Can I become an architect by taking commerce with maths in class 11th? Please answer me.

No, you cannot do architecture if you are from commerce stream. From 2018 onwards, only science (PCM or PCMB) students who have scored at least 50% in class 12th with mathematics as a compulsory subject will be considered eligible to appear in architecture entrance exams. Before 2018, commerce with maths students who have secured at least 50% in class 12th are eligible to appear in architecture entrance exams. But now, it could not be made be possible.

Hi, Unfortunately, no. Students with commerce background are not eligible for admission to architecture course. Council of Architecture rule states only candidates who have the following credentials shall be eligible for admission to B.Arch course. I. Qualified through the recognised aptitude test in Architecture NATA or equivalent). ii. Have gone through any of the following curriculum with marks as prescribed below: (a) Secured 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level examination.
