Can I become an IAS officer after pursuing B.A. in English?
I have passed class 12 with 90 percent marks and I have scored 86 out of 100 in English. I am from the commerce background. So, should I pursue my studies with B.A. in English in order to become an IAS officer?

Yess uhh become a becomes a IAS officer after cmplt ur graduation...bcoz for dat uhh must have graduate nd need to crack the IAS exam conducted by UPSC ...

Hi Sanandita, Through your degree or post-graduation in English honours, the advantage that you can acquire is selecting English literature as your second paper in optional and particularly you're not doing IAS I mean, IAS is not a course or anything like that. Its a service allotted under the UPSC
