Can I become an IAS officer as I have a tattoo on my body?

First thing is that the IAS officers are selected on the basis of their result in the exam and their presence of mind, not by the whether they have tattoos on their body. And at the time of interview, you will be in formals i.e. in full shirt with button closed to neck and your hands. Also, you'll b

2012 home ministry notification allowed the candidates having a tattoo of a name or religious symbol on the inner face of the arms or hands" for enrollment", but said that those who have a permanent tattoo on any other part of the body will be debarred from the recruitment process.
