Can I become an IES officer? How much time do I need to devote for my preparations?

I am a mechanical engineer and working in government sector.

    It depends on your dedication, but on an average 2 to 3 years are more than sufficient for IAS.

    Hello dhrupesh, as you are mechanical engineer, you are eligible for IES exams. You are working in government sector which means you may have gone through entrance exam of your particular post as well. It needs a 1-3 years dedication to clear IES, regular practice can make you clear it easily. All the very best
