Yes, you can become an eye surgeon without an MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery).

To become an ophthalmologist you must have cleared Class 12 examinations in Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English with Biology or Maths as optional subjects with at least 45 percent to 50 percent marks
