    Yes, you can but it requires robotics knowledge as well Mechatronics can be understood to come from two words - Mecha, which stands for Mechanics and tronics, which stands for Electronics. Thus, Mecahtronics is the integration of Mechanical, Electrical and Software systems to make intelligent and more productive machines. Robotics simply is one of the applications of Mecahtronic knowledge. It involves the integration of all the components of Mechatonics systems to design machines that can act like humans.
