It is possible to change the branch after the completion of the first year only if you score very well and be one amongst the toppers. Not only that, you need a strong influence with the management. It is usually not advised to do this because there is too much risk.

Hello, It is not usually recommended, as there will be no vacant seats. You need to score a very good in CGPA, and have to be one among the toppers. Only then, you can have a chance to change your branch.
