Can I change my branch from mechanical to civil for BE after completing Diploma in mechanical?

I've got 72% in mechanical engineering (3rd-year aggregate).

    Yes, you can but in that case, you will not be eligible for direct second-year entry (lateral entry) in B.Tech. You have to apply as fresher for BE/B.Tech.
