Can I change my branch in 3rd year of diploma engineering?
I am in electrical and I want to pursue CSE.

It is not feasible to change your branch in the 3rd-year of Diploma. You are advised to complete your Diploma in electrical engineering. You may seek admission in B.Tech CSE lateral entry on completion of Diploma to become a software engineer.

You may join 2nd year of B.Tech CSE degree as lateral entry student in colleges such as Manipal University. Electrical Diploma holders are eligible to seek Admission in B.Tech CSE as lateral entry admission students.
