Can I change my branch in BIT-Mesra after 1st year on getting good marks?

Yes, there is a procedure by which you can get your branch upgraded. You can apply for the same if your 1st year GPA is 8 and above. However, there is no surety of that, it totally depends on the number of seats vacant and the GPAs of the students applying for branch upgradation. Also, OBC/SC/ST are given preference in this. -
Yes, you can. BIT mesra gives an option to it's students to change branch if there is a seat vacant in the respective branch and you have enough marks to change your branch.
