To change your category, you can make the necessary changes in the JEE Main application form during the correction window, which usually opens for a limited period of time after the first session of the exam is conducted.

    Hi Nicholas,

After 1st session result NTA opens the correction window to make changes.

But after 2nd session result there is less chances but they can open it again.

    So don't worry about it.

In the year of 2023 they opened two times so in this year it should happen.

In case you if you are not able to change catagory then at the time of councelling you will be treated as a General Candidate.

It has chance to open correction window again before the JEE ADV exam .

So active about correction window date.

    Best of Luck.
