    Yes, you can change your course from B.Tech to BCA after the first year and continue your second year with BCA. However, it depends on the college's policies whether they allow such a change.

    The key points are:

    You can leave the B.Tech course and join a BCA program, there won't be any problem.

    But it is advisable to continue with your BCA course and prepare for engineering entrance exams to get admission in a B.Tech programme later.
