    Hi,
From your query it is not clear presently in which domain B.Sc/B.Tech you are studying but make it clear there is no need to change your study field. However, irrespective of your field of study, firstly you are to complete your graduation with 50% or more. Then for studying MBA in IIM, you are to crack CAT with best result from your best effort. Go ahead.

You need not to change your current field. There are various courses which you can still pursue like B.Sc, BCA, etc. and can later opt for MBA in IT.

There is no need to change your field. It will just be the wastage of time. You can go for B.Sc and then MBA.

You don't need to change your stream. You can be a science student and still do MBA from any college.

It is not necessary to conduct CAT, MAT, or XAT tests for MBA in Hospitality and Tourism admission in Lovely Professional University (LPU). The only basic eligibility criterion is graduation with at least 55% marks, and admission is substantially through the LPUNEST entrance exam or, in some instances, a valid CAT score. MAT and XAT, though, are not specified as compulsory or standard entrance exams for this course at LPU. Students can get admission by either appearing in LPUNEST or by scoring in CAT, but the selection of CAT, MAT, or XAT is not obligatory if you choose LPUNEST instead.
