Can I change my university in 2nd year in B.Tech through lateral entry admission?

B.Tech lateral entry program is for those students, who have done Diploma or ITI course in engineering. University cannot be changed after the 1st year. Only colleges can be changed within the same university.

The rule says that for lateral entry either you should have a Diploma or ITI in engineering or B.Sc in non-medical. If you want to change the college then you can change within the same university and not in any other university.
