    Yes, you can. All you need is to maintain an 8+ CGPA all through the First Year which makes you eligible for a branch change at the start of the next Academic Year.

    Hello, a student can always think of changing his / her branch after one year of study. It is however depends on the vacancies available for second year admission in the branch in which you want admission. Normally speaking you should score good marks in the first year so that the chances improve for you to shift branch in the second year to the one that you now desire. I would like to advise you to approach the administrative staff of your college to know the detailed procedure of applying for this change.
