    It doesn't matter which stream you come from, you should have a very keen interest in learning designing and animation to pursue game designing.

    Hello Parmar,
    Game designers can come from many fields. I've known game designers who studied Programming, Physics, Art, History, Film or Philosophy in college. Being a commerce student, would not be a black mark that would prevent you from ever becoming a game designer.
    Yet, neither would a degree in commerce be a big help in becoming a game designer.
    Ideally, game designers need to know a little bit about everything: Programming, Math, Physics, Creative Writing, Technical Writing, Art, Music, History, Literature, Economics, Statistics, etc.
