Yes, CPT is based on your 12th class conceptual understanding and ICAI study material will help you in building concept and MTP is most important for time management in examination and building confidence.

Off course yes, it only require knowledge of class 12th, and the study material issued by ICAI for entrance exam. Also, solve question bank issued by ICAI after completing your course. Thanks.
