The second choice is to seek admission in Polytechnic for doing Diploma. Many students follow this route and then subsequently take admission in an Engineering College via what is known as lateral admission mode. Here I would like to caution you. The students who follow this are unable to study any other course since the minimum requirement of any other course is invariably 12th. So, please be aware of this before you decide your next course of action.
