CAT scores have no connection whatsoever with past academics, you need to work hard and prepare well to score.

You have a good academic background. CAT exam is used to test the intelligence level of the candidates. So, it involves questions related to quantitative aptitude, verbal communication, reasoning, data interpretation. Practice these type of questions and do focus on time management then you can definitely do well.
