Can I directly pursue java without knowing c or c+ ?

Of course you can go. Language learning is merely understanding of syntax and libraries. Doing good or better programming is how efficiently you are applying logics. Therefore there is no problem if you don't know any of the C or C++ languages. Learn Java and practice as much as you can.
