Can I directly register for the Admission in Thapar Institute of Engineering and technology? What is the last date for admission in Thapar?

B.Tech at TIET Patiala is a 4-year programme divided into 8 semesters, with 2 semesters each academic year.

For 2026-27, check the official academic calendar because the exact class starting date can change. Usually BTech classes start around July/August. Better check the admission portal once your admission is confirmed.

Usually Thapar BTech admissions start around May, after JEE Main results are declared. You can apply through the official Thapar website. Keep checking the admission dates as they can change every year.
