on the basis of your diploma you are treated 12th pass for B.A. only in B.Tech. you have given lateral entry in second year.

No you can not. Based on your diploma, you can get direct admission to 2nd year B.E. through lateral entry scheme. For B.A. you can get admission based on your 12th, in first year.
