Hi,
Yes you can get admission in undergraduate mechanical engineering course, the duration of undergraduate course is 3-4 years.
It is not possible to complete undergraduate course in 1 year.

After the completion of your diploma you may opt for lateral entry admissions to the second year of a B Tech programme to continue your education. You will have to clear state level lateral entry eligibility tests. If you are employed and do not wish to break from athe job, you may think of AMIE/AMI
