Can I do B.Ed through distance mode?

Presently, I am working as a non-teaching staff in a school but I wanted to go in teaching profession without leaving my present job.

    Hi,
    The eligibility criteria of B.Ed distance education course is elaborated below: -
    The applicants must have at least 50% marks in Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Arts, Science, and Commerce and Engineering streams in order to apply for distance B.Ed course. Candidates who wish to take up distance B.Ed must be trained in-service teachers in elementary education. Candidates who have completed teacher education programme recognised by NCTE in a face-to-face mode are also eligible to apply. Candidates who have at least two years of teaching experience in primary or upper primary schools can also take up distance B.Ed course. Thank

    Yes, you can do B.Ed through distance mode. The eligibility is pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in sciences, social sciences, humanities or commerce or equivalent. Or, you should have passed with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech or BE with specialization in Science and mathematics or equivalent.
