With science stream in 12th with maths, one can do B.Sc in economics.

You do agree planning and development of a country are dependent on a proper study of economic backbone of the country - it's treasure, components of the other growth factors, expenses and factors affecting savings nature etc. Naturally study of economics, statistics and probability are key factors
