Can I do B.Sc in home science after 12th commerce?
I am from Ahmednagar & have completed my 12th commerce examination. I am looking for a career in nutrition and dietetics, will you please send me the course details admission/fees/dates/distance learning?

The answer would be yes. Though, B.Sc IT is treated as a Science stream course, many colleges are also offering admission to Commerce stream students. But, there are some conditions and limitations. You will be reading about the limitations and conditions in the next section. In case of most Colleges offering admission to Commerce stream students (for B.Sc. IT programme), they have an eligibility criteria. As per the criteria, the student must have had Mathematics and/or Computer subjects during class 11th and class 12th Commerce stream schooling. Yes, you can surely do it. It is a very good and promising option. You need to have Home Science as one of the best four subjects. If not, some percentage will be deducted. Because, it is mandatory to include that subject in best four for which you are applying as a course.
There are some subjects like 'Physical Education' which cause deduction if included in the best four. 'Home Science' causes no such problem.
So yes, you need to have it to include in the best four.
