    Dear aspirant,
Glad to meet you. Yes, you can pursue B.Sc. Maths after 12th. Some institutes insist on 12th with Science stream, but mostly they do take commerce students with Maths as one of the subjects in 12th. There would be some criteria of minimum percentage etc. Or there might also be an entrance exam set by the college, so be prepared. Top B.Sc. Mathematics Honours Colleges in India

You are not eligible for B.Sc honors maths because you don't belong to science stream.

No, you cannot pursue B.Sc in maths as the eligibility criteria to have B.Sc maths is 60% minimum in 10+2 from science stream. Some colleges also take entrance exams for B.Sc mathematics.

No, you cannot pursue B.Sc (Hons) Maths after your 12th if you are a commerce student as B.Sc is only for those who opted for maths in class 12th.

    Hi,
A maths honors course essentially requires you to be from science stream. While after having commerce in 12th you cannot really pursue a Bachelors in science.

    Hi,
No, you can not pursue B.Sc (Hons) Maths after 12th in case you have commerce background. The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing B.Sc is qualifying 10+2 in science stream.
    Regards.

Hi.

If you apply with JEE Main scores, CU primarily considers your JEE Main percentile / AIR for admission.

12th marks are generally secondary in this case — mostly used for eligibility criteria (like minimum 50–60% in PCM or aggregate, depending on branch).

High JEE scores can also qualify you for JEE-based scholarships at CU.

Hi.

Yes — for admission to B.Tech/B.E. at Chandigarh University (CU), there is a requirement on your 12th‑class marks (along with other eligibility conditions), even if you're using your JEE Main score.

What's required from 12th (or equivalent) at CU

You must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognised board with Physics and Mathematics.

For many B.Tech courses at CU, including those that accept JEE Main or CU's entrance (CUCET), the minimum aggregate requirement in 12th is around 50% (for general or merit‑based eligibility) as a baseline.

Some sources show that for “full eligibility” (especially for certa

Hi.

If your 12th result has not been announced yet then

Upload expected / provisional marks for now.

Final admission depends on the official 12th mark sheet after results are announced.

Colleges are used to this situation, especially for students applying in early cycles.

Hi.

AIIMS is primarily a medical college/university (undergraduate, postgraduate, super-speciality, etc.) + a hospital.

Its courses begin after Class 12 — i.e. you must have completed 12th standard (10+2) to be eligible for entry into courses like MBBS, B.Sc., etc.

The official course list of AIIMS includes medical and allied health degrees — not school-level classes (11th / 12th) as per its academic catalogue.

Thus, AIIMS itself does not run 11th and 12th standard as a school.
