No, pursuing a BHMS degree after completing BAMS wouldn't be the most efficient use of your time and qualifications. Here's why:

    • Separate Medical Systems: BAMS focuses on Ayurveda, while BHMS deals with Homeopathy. These are distinct medical philosophies with unique treatment approaches. Completing a BHMS programme would involve significant foundational learning in Homeopathy, which you wouldn't have received in your BAMS education.
    • Undergraduate Degrees: Both BAMS and BHMS are undergraduate degrees, qualifying you for practice as a doctor in their respective fields (Ayurvedic and Homeopathic medicine). Earning another bachelor's degree

BHMS is Bachelor of homeopathic medicine and surgery and BAMS is Bachelors of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery. Both the courses are of 5.5 years. One course is enough and after that do Masters/PG in that course.
